Rocky Mountain Big Horn Sheep Story
Well Auntie Fern told the story so I guess I have to update everyone on the story behind the story. My mom tells it better, she was there, I am just relaying what they told me. When we were up in Waterton with Tara and Trent we saw a herd of Rocky Mountain Big Horn Sheep. The males get pretty big horns and are very territorial. anyways, there were two males walking with each other through the parking lot. The one leading the small group turned on the other and reared up. They started head butting each other. I have never heard something hit so loud. I would think that it would hurt but they kept rearing and head butting each other. Shaylan and I were in our car with Jay and Wyatt was in the car with grandma and grandpa. When he saw them head butting he started telling the story in Wyatt language, which means that you can't understand a word and all you hear is him yelling. Then he took his fists and started hitting them together and making hitting sounds. It was funny to see him so excited to see the sheep hitting each other. Even now when he sees the pictures of the sheep, he tells the story again, yelling, noises, and fists and all. pretty funny. He sure is an animated little kid. I will post the pictures that I was able to get later, but for now this is the story.
